The Event will take place on the 21st and 22nd February, this annual tournament combines a Pro event with some of Europe's top pickleball talent with an inclusive and competitive amateur event. Four categories 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5+ Pro will be played on 15 acrylic courts using Franklin X40 balls. There will be Pro category prize pool and all results will be uploaded to DUPR
Several hotels are conveniently within a 5 minute drive including, Premier Inn Taunton Ruishton Hotel, Holiday Inn Express Taunton East, Holiday Inn Taunton M5 junction 25, Travelodge Taunton. Also a 5 minute drive away is the train station with connections to UK cities and towns. Blackbrook Leisure Centre and Spa is just off the M5 and parking is available at the centre
Pro coaching clinics will be available to book, keep an eye out for an email a couple weeks before the event once you have registered. You will receive the details of the coaches and topics covered. Dinkspace coaches are some of the UK's and Europe's top pickleball players, we offer quality technical and tactical teaching from our team of experienced high level coaches, all Dinkspace coaches have a minimum DUPR rating of 4.5.
If you are entering a doubles competition, you can specify your partner during the registration process. If you do not have a doubles partner (or would prefer your partner to pay separately), you can select a partner from a list of available partners that you will have access to via the Portal. If you are inviting a partner, they must agree with your decision. Otherwise, you must select an alternative. Please note that at early stages of entry, there may be few or no available partners, so please be patient.
-Registration fee: £25 -Amateur categories: £25 -Pro Categories: £30. Payment can be made using bank cards, fund transfers or Paypal. Please follow the instructions carefully to avoid accidental errors. If an error is made we will aim to resolve/repay funds within 2 working days.
